FAREWELL RGS. THANKYOU FOR THE MEMORIES. IT HAS BEEN A ROLLARCOASTER RIDE WITH UPS AND DOWNS, BUT WHEN I LOOK BACK, IT HAS ALL BEEN WORTH IT.
The day started off at 9am for me when vic came over to my house, where we were supposed to run at Bishan Park but thank goodnessthe sun was blazing hot and we decided otherwise. haha! Just lazed around on my bed as we waited for the arrival of cheah. haha! My granny thought that we were wild kids or something cos we started to blast dancy music and erm... cheah attempted to teach vic and I some "interesting moves" HAHA! IT WAS FUN! (cheah! post up the vids!)
Anyway, at 12noon the 'actual fun' started. Had SUBWAY once again for lunch and after that vic and I had our manicure done. Both of us did french manicure! (: I stayed with the safe colours (natural pink+white) whilst vic felt all gay again and went for HOT PINK+ SILVER GLITTER?! haha! She was totally in love with her nails after that. And yes, vic just had to embarrass herself in front of the manicurist.
vic: THANK YOU AUNTIE FOR INTRODUCING ME SUCH GAY COLOURS!
(silence+ tense moment)
cheah and I: *shakes head violently
vic: OHOH, OPPS! JIEJIE!
haha! Silly vic! She was clearly NOT an AUNTIE. She must have been insulted! That's why she didn't clean off the excess nail polish properly for you! haha!
Spent almost an hour there at the shop? By then it was already 2.30pm and cheah was getting all anxious that we'd be late for KELTURE (hair+ makeup)And then I realized that I had NO SHOES to wear for FAM. Welldone. My mum's shoes and xinyi jie's pumps were too big! Even after I stuffed loads of tissue. haha! So vic introduced me to a shoe shop that sold shoes under $30. It was love at first sight! haha! I LOVE MY BLACK PUMPS! WHEEE! Although it's plain and simple, I still love it! yay! After getting them, we decided to cab back to my place cos' it was raining so darn heavily. Reached home, grabbed our dresses and called for a taxi)
KELTURE WAS FUN! (:
The guy started with cheah. Gave her pretty curls! hahaa! Cheah looked "more mature" after that! But still very elegant! Then it was my turn! :D The guy just kept staring at my hair (bet he was wondering what to do with such little hair) haha!
stylist: Do you want your hair to be wild?
me (apprehensive): okay... but not too crazy
stylist: your dress isn't one of those cute cute kinds right?
me: yea. Hiya, just do whatever you want to my hair la
stylist: oh thank you. aiya, I want to save hairspray on you, also cannot!
haha! and so I turned out looking like this! some said that I resemble naima from America's Next Top Model cycle4! HAHA! I swear that I looked like a cockerel
Orchard hotel wasn't so bad afterall! It was so well decorated with christmas decorations! That added to the glitz and glamour! :) Thank goodness I bought new camera batteries, or else I would have really felt super depressed throughout the entire night. EVERYONE LOOKED SO PRETTY WITH THEIR HAIR AND MAKEUP! A night fit for princesses! :) :)
Hard luck! I just had to bump into mr. ong at the ballroom entrance. "Bernice! You look taller! -_-"
